October Construction Activities – Virology Building

CVR/Virology Building

Please be aware that, over the coming weeks and months, we will be working on a programme of demolition for the CVR/Virology and Pontecorvo Buildings, at the southern end of Church Street.

The annex section of building, closest to Anderson/Robertson buildings will be demolished over a series of Saturdays during October and November. The first of these is planned for Saturday 19 October and is expected to last for seven weekends. The noise impacts of this phase of work is expected to be low for residents of Church Street.

Structural demolition of the portion of the building facing Church Street, should take place between December and February. Please note that during this period, the footpath outside the building will be closed to pedestrians.
